Who they are
Raul has been robbing banks long enough to have turned the job into a style. He is persuasive, charming, and permanently on the hunt for people willing to take the risks that pay the most.
His philosophy fits in a line he delivers like a remark about the weather: life is full of surprises, and we would all be wise to remember it. Coming from a bank robber it sounds less like comfort and more like notice.
The problem is his own recklessness: every score raises the stakes. Sooner or later his crew will have to double down or take their chips off the table.
